How You Can Get Involved
There are many ways you can become involved in this project that range from spreading the word about this film and the issues to actually participating in the production process. This is also an extremely low-budget endeavor, and we are constantly seeking financial support.
We are currently looking for assistants, interns and experienced consultants who would be interested in volunteering their time and skills to aid in the creation of this film. Specific skill sets or areas of interest that would be most helpful would include:
-Website: Design, updating, improvements
-Media collection: video material to add to the film, news clips, etc.
-Editing support: advisors or reviewers for the editing process, (experienced Final Cut Pro users needed)
-Research: on a range of environmental and social issues
-Translation: Portuguese and Spanish to English
-Transcription: English, Portuguese and Spanish
-Networking
-Filming: Accompany the filmmakers on any additional filming excursions
-Fundraising: Grant writing, grassroots fundraising, events, etc.
-Marketing/publicity/distribution, media packets
